  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, add the sweet potatoes and enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15 minutes.

  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Mash the potatoes until smooth using a potato masher or a fork.
