How To Make Chicken with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts until browned on both sides, about 4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and garlic. Cook until mushrooms are tender and golden, about 5 minutes.

  5. Place the chicken breasts back into the skillet with the mushrooms. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
