How To Make Water Chestnut and Tofu Stir-Fry
A light, crunchy, and flavorful stir fry dish made with water chestnuts and tofu.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
- 1 can of sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the cubed tofu and fry for 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

Add the sliced peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir fry for 5 minutes, or until tender.

Add the sliced water chestnuts to the skillet and continue to stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot with rice.
