Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium turnips, peeled and sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Layer the sliced potatoes and turnips in a buttered 9×9 inch baking dish.

  3. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and minced garlic until just simmering.

  4. Pour the cream mixture over the potato and turnip layers.

  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the gratin.

  6. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes and turnips are fork-tender.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
