Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped turnips
  • 1 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Steam the chopped turnips for 5-7 minutes until tender.

  2. In a food processor, pulse together the cooked turnips, parsley, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and salt until finely chopped.

  3. Gradually pour in the olive oil while pulsing until the pesto is smooth.

  4. Serve with pasta, bread, or vegetables.
