How To Make Parsley Walnut Pesto Pasta Recipe

This dish is a healthy and flavorful pasta made with homemade parsley and walnut pesto.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 cups fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water.

  2. In a food processor, blend the parsley, walnuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese until finely chopped.

  3. Slowly pour in olive oil while the processor is running until the pesto is blended.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Drain the cooked pasta, then mix with the pesto until well coated.

  6. Serve with extra Parmesan cheese and parsley leaves on top.
