How To Make Mashed Turnip Recipe
Creamy and indulgent mashed turnip recipe with a hint of garlic and thyme.

Ingredients
- 3 large turnips, peeled and chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Place chopped turnips in a large pot and cover with water. Add 1 tsp salt to the water.

Bring the water to a boil and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until turnips are fork-tender.

Drain the turnips and add them back to the pot.

Add butter, garlic, and thyme to the turnips. Mash well with a potato masher or fork.

Add heavy cream and stir until well combined.

Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve hot.
