How To Make Italian Gumbo

Our Italian gumbo recipe combines Italian sausages, Italian-style diced tomatoes and some Italian seasoning for that distinct Italian aroma and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian Sausage
  • 1 lb frozen okra
  • 2 cup cooked white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups Italian style diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups whole corn, optional
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook on stove top:
  2. Cook sausage in frying pan and then drain excess grease.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and let simmer for 20 -30 minutes.

  4. Serve.
