How To Make Fish and Corn Chowder Recipe
A hearty and flavorful chowder made with fresh fish and sweet corn.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb of fresh fish, diced (such as cod or tilapia)
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups of fresh or frozen corn kernels
- 3 cups of chicken or seafood broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tbsp of flour
- 2 tbsp of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add the diced fish, corn kernels, flour and cook for 2-3 minutes until fish is lightly browned.

Add the broth and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add heavy cream, salt and pepper, and continue to simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes until the chowder has thickened.

Serve hot with your choice of crusty bread or crackers.
