  • 1 lb chopped clams
  • 4 cups of clam juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and onion, cook until translucent.

  3. Add clam juice, potatoes, thyme, and bay leaf. Simmer until potatoes are tender.

  4. Add clams, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook until heated through.
