How To Make Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (about 4 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried oregano, and black pepper.

Remove the giblets from the chicken and pat the chicken dry with paper towels.

Rub the entire chicken with olive oil, then generously sprinkle the spice mixture all over the chicken, inside and out.

Place the chicken on a roasting rack in a roasting pan, breast side up.

Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
