How To Make Honey Garlic Butter Roasted Carrots

Roasted carrots are a nice combination of sweet and smoky and adding in honey and garlic makes it a flavorful dish that you can’t say no to.

Ingredients

  • 2lbcarrots
  • cupbutter
  • 3tbsphoney
  • 4garlic clovesminced
  • ½tspsalt
  • black pepper
  • 2tbspparsleyfresh chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly grease a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil spray. Set aside.

  2. Trim ends of carrots and cut into thirds.

  3. Melt butter in a pan or skillet over medium heat. Pour in honey and cook, while stirring, until completely melted through the butter.

  4. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant while stirring.

  5. Add the carrots and allow the sauce to thicken while tossing the carrots through the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Transfer carrots to baking sheet in a single layer so they cook evenly. Toss to evenly coat.

  7. Roast for 20 minutes, or until carrots are fork-tender. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes on high heat to char the edges.

  8. Season with a little extra salt and pepper if desired. Garnish with parsley.

  9. Arrange onto serving platter and enjoy!
