How To Make Easy Spiral Ham

This spiral ham makes a sweet and smoky dish that’s perfect for the holidays. It’s enhanced with a caramelized ready-to-use glaze for added deliciousness.

Ingredients

  • 10lbsspiral ham
  • glaze of choice,optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

  2. Remove packaging and if the ham has a small plastic disk on the underside of the bone, remove and discard the disk.

  3. Place ham in a shallow roasting pan, cut side down.

  4. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes per pound until ham reaches 140 degrees F.

  5. If adding ham glaze, add during the last 20 minutes of cooking.

  6. Remove the ham from the oven and rest at least for 15 minutes before cutting. Spoon juices over the ham before serving, if desired.

  7. Serve and enjoy.

Recipe Notes

For a homemade glaze recipe, combine ⅔ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup orange or pineapple juice, and 2 tablespoons of dijon mustard with preferred warm spices.
