Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 200g sour cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cumin.

  2. Take a small amount of the beef mixture and wrap it in a square piece of pasta dough, sealing the edges to form a dumpling.

  3. Repeat with the remaining beef mixture and pasta dough.

  4. In a pot, bring water to a boil and cook the dumplings for about 10 minutes, or until they float to the top.

  5. In a separate pan, melt the butter and add the tomato sauce, beef broth, sour cherries, and chilli flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve the cooked dumplings with the tomato-chilli butter sauce, garnished with chopped parsley.
