Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 corn cobs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup Comté cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, and chives), chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
-
Peel back the husks of the corn cobs, leaving them attached at the base. Remove the silk strands and fold the husks back over the corn.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, grated Comté cheese, and chopped fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Grill the corn cobs for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the husks are slightly charred and the corn kernels are tender.
-
Carefully remove the husks from the corn cobs and brush each cob generously with the Comté and herb butter mixture.
-
Return the corn cobs to the grill for another minute or two, until the butter melts and the cheese begins to melt and bubble.
-
Serve immediately and enjoy!
