Ingredients

  • 1Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Nacho Supreme,(1 box)
  • 1onion,diced
  • 1lblean ground beef
  • ½green pepper,diced
  • ½red pepper,diced
  • 1cupfresh corn,or frozen, defrosted if frozen
  • 1cupblack beans,canned , rinsed and drained
  • 2cupswater

Optional Toppings:

  • tomato,diced
  • sour cream
  • cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain well.

  2. Add 2 cups of water, seasoning mix, and pasta.

  3. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Add the diced red and green peppers, corn, and black beans.

  5. Cover and simmer for an additional 4 to 6 minutes or until pasta is tender and most of the water is gone.

  6. Remove from heat and stir in the Velveeta cheese sauce pouch. Top with salsa and desired toppings.

  7. Serve immediately.
