Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground bison meat
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, combine bison meat, breadcrumbs, onion, mushrooms, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

  4. Place the patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two.

  6. Assemble the burgers with desired toppings on the bun.
