Bison and Vegetable Stir-Fry Recipe

How To Make Bison and Vegetable Stir-Fry

A healthy and flavorful stir-fry made with lean bison meat and colorful veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bison meat, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, ginger, cornstarch, and water.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add bison meat and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add garlic, onion, and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add snow peas and stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Return bison meat to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another minute or until sauce has thickened and evenly coats the meat and veggies.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
