
How To Make Cheesy Doritos Casserole
This tasty Doritos casserole layered with Doritos and lean ground beef seasoned with delicious taco seasoning and salsa will easily be a family favorite!

Ingredients
- 1Doritos,family size bag, Nacho Cheese or any flavor
- 1onion,diced
- 1lblean ground beef
- 1clovegarlic,minced
- 1cupsalsa
- taco seasoning,(1package) low sodium or homemade taco seasoning
- 1cupsour cream
- 1cancream of chicken,or mushroom soup
- 2cupscheese,shredded, such as tex-mex blend or cheddar
- ⅓cupwater
Optional Toppings:
- lettuce
- tomato
- olives
- sour cream
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until no pink remains. Drain any fat.

Add the taco seasoning, salsa, and ⅓ cup of water. Cook until thickened for about 5 minutes and remove from heat.

In a large bowl, combine beef mixture, sour cream, soup and 1 cup of cheese.

Slightly crush the Doritos (not completely, you don’t want crumbs). Layer 1½ cups of Doritos in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish.

Top with ½ of the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Finally, top with an additional 1 to 1½ cups Doritos and the remaining cheese.

Spray a piece of foil with cooking spray and cover the casserole.

Bake covered for 30 minutes, remove the foil, and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and olives, if desired.
