How To Make Easy Grilled Tilapia

This grilled tilapia is an exotic dinner dish that you can cook up in an hour. The fish is marinated in a mix of lemon, hot sauce, olive oil, and herbs.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Marinate Time: 30 minutes
Total: 50 minutes



  • ¾cupolive oil
  • ½cupfresh parsley,finely chopped
  • ¼cupred wine vinegar,optional
  • 2clovesgarlic,minced
  • ½lemon juice
  • 1tbsporegano,dried
  • ½tspground black pepper
  • 2dasheshot pepper sauce
  • 1pinchsea salt,to taste
  • 4oztilapia fillets,(4 pieces)


  1. Combine olive oil, parsley, vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, black pepper, hot sauce, and sea salt in a large, zip-top bag. Shake well.

  2. Add tilapia fillets and marinate in the mixture for 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.

  4. Cook fillets on the preheated grill for about 5 minutes per side until they flake easily with a fork.
