
How To Make Skinny Baked Jalapeño Poppers
Our hearty jalapeño poppers are stuffed with cheese and baked to provide a crunchy, creamy dish. These poppers are a sure crowd pleaser at any party!

Ingredients
- 12jalapeno peppers,sliced in half lengthwise
- 4.5ozlight cream cheese
- 5medium scallions,green part only, sliced
- 2ozsharp cheddar,low fat, shredded
- ⅓cupegg beaters,or egg whites, beaten
- ⅓cuppanko crumbs
- ⅛tsppaprika
- ⅛tspgarlic powder
- ⅛tspchili powder
- salt and fresh pepper
- spray oil
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Wearing rubber gloves, cut the peppers in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membrane.

Combine the cream cheese, cheddar, and scallions in a medium bowl.

Combine the panko, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper in another bowl.

Fill the peppers with the cheese filling with a small spoon or spatula.

Dip the peppers in the egg beaters.

Place the pepper in the panko mixture using a spoon.

Spray a baking pan with oil spray.

Lightly spray the peppers with a little more oil spray.

Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden and the cheese oozes out.

Remove from oven, serve hot, and enjoy!
