How To Make Hot Spiked Cider

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 orange, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. Lower the heat and let the cider simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the dark rum, bourbon, and honey.

  4. Place an orange slice in each serving mug and pour the hot spiked cider over it.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
