Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat.

  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.

  4. Stir in the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, beef broth, bay leaves, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

  6. Remove bay leaves and serve the sauce over cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
