How To Make Easy Cinnamon Rolls

These Easy Cinnamon Rolls are a delicious treat that can be whipped up in no time. They are soft, fluffy, and filled with a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add in the cold cubed butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. Gradually pour in the milk and mix until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it a few times to bring it together.

  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.

  6. Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll up the dough into a log shape.

  7. Use a sharp knife to cut the log into 1-inch thick slices. Place the slices into the prepared baking dish, cut side up.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

  9. In the meantime, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Add more milk if needed to achieve desired consistency.

  10. Once the cinnamon rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.

  11. Serve the Easy Cinnamon Rolls warm and enjoy!
