How To Make Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- Cooked egg noodles, for serving
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken strips and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid, about 5 minutes.

Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir to coat.

Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream and Dijon mustard.

Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce is heated through and the chicken is cooked.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the chicken stroganoff over cooked egg noodles, garnished with chopped parsley.
