How To Make Creamed Leeks with Bacon & Thyme
This creamy and flavorful dish combines leeks, crispy bacon, and aromatic thyme, creating a satisfying side or light main course.

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 leeks, white and light green parts only, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

Add leeks and garlic to the skillet and sauté until leeks are softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and thyme leaves. Bring to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the creamed leeks topped with the crispy bacon.
