How To Make Shrimp Fish Cakes Recipe

Delicious and protein-packed shrimp fish cakes made with fresh shrimp and flaky fish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb flaky white fish, such as cod or tilapia
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)

  2. In a food processor, pulse the shrimp and white fish until finely chopped.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp and fish with breadcrumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  4. Form the mixture into small patties and set them aside.

  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  6. Transfer cooked patties to an oven-proof dish and bake for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
