How To Make Catfish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb catfish fillets, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a small bowl, mix cumin powder, coriander powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Rub the spice mix onto the catfish pieces.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the catfish until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. Heat the tortillas in the oven for a few minutes.

  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a few pieces of catfish onto a tortilla, top with shredded red cabbage, avocado slices and a squeeze of lime.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
