This rhubarb raspberry banana smoothie has just the right amount of sweetness which complements the taste of rhubarb very nicely. It’s a nutritious drink that is very easy to prepare and is rich in vitamins.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 2 ½ cups rhubarb, frozen, chopped
  • 2 ½ cups raspberries, frozen
  • 1/4 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 bananas, peeled and broken into pieces

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

  2. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
