How To Make Mulled Wine

A combination of sweet, fruity, and mellow flavors, this mulled wine is a warm drink to keep you comfy during the holiday season.

  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ¼ tbsp black peppercorns, whole
  • tbsp ginger, fresh, peeled & bruised


  1. Combine all ingredients & bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce to a simmer & continue simmer for at least 20 minutes or until wine mixture is reduced slightly & spices have infused.
  3. Strain all spices & discard.
  4. Serve while warm. If preferred, you can sweeten your drink with either sugar, honey, or any sweetener of your choice.
