How To Make Easy Mulled Wine

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of red wine
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • Optional garnish: orange slices and cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the red wine, orange slices, honey, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and nutmeg.

  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Do not let it boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the wine simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  4. Remove from heat and strain out the spices.

  5. Serve the mulled wine warm in mugs, garnished with orange slices and cinnamon sticks if desired.

  6. Enjoy!
