Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, and matcha green tea powder. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
-
Place the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually for about 20-25 minutes.
-
While the frozen yogurt is churning, prepare the sesame brittle shards. In a small saucepan, toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
In a separate saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns a deep amber color. Quickly stir in the toasted sesame seeds and pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow it to cool and harden.
-
Once the frozen yogurt has finished churning, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours.
-
To serve, break the sesame brittle shards into small pieces and sprinkle them over the green tea frozen yogurt.
-
Enjoy!
