  • 4 cups rice cereal
  • 3 cups marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Green food coloring
  • Assorted colorful candies
  • 4 popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.

  2. Remove from heat and add a few drops of green food coloring until desired color is achieved. Stir in the rice cereal until fully coated.

  3. Take a handful of the mixture and press it firmly into a Christmas tree shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Insert a popsicle stick into the bottom of each tree.

  4. Decorate the trees with assorted colorful candies, pressing them gently into the cereal mixture.

  5. Allow the trees to cool and firm up for about 30 minutes.

  6. Once firm, carefully remove the trees from the baking sheet and serve.
