Blueberry Basil Ice Pops Recipe

How To Make Blueberry Basil Ice Pops

The spicy, earthy flavors of the basil work surprisingly well with blueberries in these basil ice pops providing a refreshing treat with right sweetness.

Total: 15 minutes



  • ¾cupsugar
  • ½cupfresh basil,loosely packed
  • ½cupwater
  • 16ozfren blueberry
  • 1tbsplemon juice


  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, basil, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. Once boiling, cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved and the basil is fragrant. Remove from the heat.

  3. Strain the herb syrup through a fine-mesh sieve set over a blender. Add the blueberries and lemon juice. Blend on high speed using a blender until smooth.

  4. Divide the mixture between 6 ice pop molds. Freeze until solid, at least 6 hours.

  5. Enjoy!
