How To Make Passion Meringue Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 4 passion fruits
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and press it gently to fit. Set aside.

Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp. Set aside.

In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, condensed milk, and lime juice until well combined.

Stir in the passion fruit pulp and pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.

While the pie is baking, prepare the meringue topping. In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy.

Add the cream of tartar and continue beating until soft peaks form.

Gradually add the granulated sugar while beating, until stiff peaks form.
