How To Make Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Treat yourself to a flavorful dessert with this hot fudge ice cream bar made with ice cream sandwiches and fudge sauce. Keeps well in the freezer.

Ingredients

  • 16ozchocolate syrup
  • ¾cuppeanut butter
  • 19ice cream sandwiches
  • 12ozcontainer frozen whipped topping,thawed
  • 1cupsalted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave until hot for about 2 minutes on high, stopping every 30 seconds.

  2. Do not allow to boil. Stir peanut butter into hot chocolate until smooth. Allow cooling to room temperature.

  3. Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches. Spread half the whipped topping over the sandwiches.

  4. Spoon half the chocolate mixture over the sandwiches Top with half the peanuts. Repeat layers.

  5. Freeze until firm for at least 1 hour. Cut into squares to serve.
