How To Make Bacon, Sausage & Prune Rolls

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 sausages (your choice of flavor)
  • 12 pitted prunes
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  3. In the same skillet, cook the sausages until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  4. Cut each cooked sausage into three equal pieces.

  5. Take a slice of bacon and place a piece of sausage and a prune at one end. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick.

  6. Repeat with the remaining bacon, sausage, and prunes.

  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  10. Serve the rolls warm as an appetizer or snack.
