  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 ripe pears, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, diced pears, and freshly grated ginger. Stir well to combine.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and salt.

  4. Add the cold cubed butter to the oat mixture. Using your fingers, rub the butter into the oats until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  5. Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish and top with the oat crumble mixture, spreading it evenly over the top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the crumble topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
