How To Make Shortbread Christmas Cookies

Ingredients
- 2cupsbutter
- 1cuppowdered sugar
- 3cupsflour
- 1½cupscornstarch
- 1tspvanilla
- food coloring,optional
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Cream the butter and vanilla with a stand mixer until fluffy.

Add the flour, powdered sugar and cornstarch a little at a time while mixing.

Divide the dough into pieces based on the number of available food colors, then knead in a few drops of coloring to reach desired color.

Roll into balls, then place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Flatten with a fork, a meat tenderizer or the bottom of a designed glass. Top with sprinkles, if desired.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Cool completely, serve, and enjoy!
