Ingredients

  • 1cupwhole wheat flour
  • 2cupswhole oats
  • 1tspbaking powder
  • ½tspbaking soda
  • ¼tspsea salt
  • 1tspcinnamon
  • 1egg
  • 2tbspcanola oil
  • ¾cupsugar,or ½ cup agave
  • 1cupapplesauce
  • 1tspvanilla
  • apple,finely diced
  • ¾cupraisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon in small mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer combine egg, oil, apple sauce, vanilla in large mixing bowl; mix well.

  3. Add dry ingredients to wet, one cup at a time, mixing with each addition. Stir in apples and raisins by hand.

  4. Scoop by tablespoonful onto sprayed cookie sheet. Bake for 14 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
