These sweet M&M cookies makes the perfect Christmas desserts after a big meal! It’s loaded with classic M&M candies for a more tasteful sweet treat.

Ingredients
- 2½cupsall-purpose flour
- 2tspcornstarch
- ¾tspbaking powder
- ½tspbaking soda
- ½tspsalt
- 1cupbutter,salted, chilled and diced into ½-inch cubes
- 1cuplight-brown sugar,packed
- ½cupgranulated sugar
- 1large egg
- 1large egg yolk
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 11ozM&M’s,1 bag, mini
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, blend together the butter and sugar on low speed until it starts to come together.

Increase the mixer to medium speed, then whip for 3 to 4 minutes until creamy.

Mix in the egg and egg yolk, then stir in the vanilla.

With the mixer set on low speed, slowly add in the dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Mix in the M&M’s.

Scoop the dough out 2 tablespoons at a time, then shape them into a ball.

Transfer the cookies to a Silpat lined or buttered cookie sheet, fitting 8 cookies per sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.

Allow to cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
