- 4 plums, pitted and sliced
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the plums, apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add in the cold cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your hands to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Drop spoonfuls of the cobbler dough over the fruit mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the cobbler topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
