Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup of powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.

  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.

  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract together until well combined.

  5. Add in the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy.

  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  7. Bake for 35 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

  8. Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting into squares.
