Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup marzipan, chopped into small pieces
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the chopped marzipan pieces.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
