How To Make Green Tea Daifuku Recipe
A traditional Japanese mochi with a twist of green tea, filled with red bean paste.

Ingredients
- 1 cup mochiko (rice flour)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup sweetened red bean paste
- potato starch (for dusting)
Instructions

In a bowl, combine mochiko, granulated sugar, and matcha green tea powder.

Gradually add water and mix until smooth.

Microwave the mixture for 2 minutes until firm, stirring every 30 seconds.

Knead the mochi on a powdered surface for 5 minutes.

Roll the mochi into 8 balls and flatten each one.

Place 1 tbsp of red bean paste in the center of each mochi and seal the edges.

Dust with potato starch and serve.
