How To Make Anmitsu Recipe

A tasty Japanese dessert featuring small cubes of agar jelly, sweet azuki bean paste, fruits, and mochi balls served with syrup.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of agar agar powder
  • 1 can of azuki beans
  • Assorted fruits (mango, kiwi, strawberry)
  • 8 mochi balls
  • 1/4 cup of canned fruit cocktail
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water, sugar and agar powder in a pot until dissolved.

  2. Pour into a container and refrigerate until set.

  3. Cut into small cubes.

  4. Serve cubes with azuki beans, fruits, mochi balls, fruit cocktail and syrup.

  5. Garnish with a mint leaf.
