How To Make Mounds Coconut Truffles Recipe

Deliciously chocolatey and coconutty truffles, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

  2. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth.

  4. Dip each coconut ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat it completely, and return them to the parchment-lined sheet.

  5. Sprinkle extra shredded coconut on top of each truffle.

  6. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes, until the chocolate sets.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
