How To Make Mimi’s Cafe Shrimp Scampi Recipe

Delicious and flavorful shrimp scampi served with linguine pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions, drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add in garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add in shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.

  4. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, bring to a boil and let it reduce for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Toss in cooked pasta and mix until well combined.

  7. Serve hot with freshly chopped parsley as garnish.
