- 1 lb squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
- 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp salt
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions

In a bowl, combine chickpea flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

Add water gradually to the flour mixture and whisk until you get a smooth batter.

Dip each squid ring into the batter, coating it well.

Carefully drop the coated squid rings into the hot oil and fry until golden and crispy.

Remove the squid pakoras from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve hot with coconut yogurt dip.
