How To Make Dots Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe

Soft, chewy and delicious oatmeal raisin cookies that are dotted with sweet raisins and make the perfect snack!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.

  5. Gradually add dry mixture into wet ingredients until a dough forms.

  6. Fold in oats and raisins until evenly combined.

  7. Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto prepared baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Let cool for 5 minutes on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
